As Prison Fellowship Scotland, we have the privilege of serving in all 15 prisons and the two new Community Custody Units in Scotland. This work is done in almost all cases by groups of volunteers who have been recruited from our church connections. PFS is committed to providing the necessary training and support, including SPS training, for our volunteers to work in what can, at times, be a challenging environment. We give our volunteers clear guidelines for this work as well as regular updates. Through the year we provide opportunities for volunteers to meet and learn from the expertise of professionals in various fields as well as from one another as we celebrate the opportunities that we have been privileged to enjoy in the prisons
