Volunteer
“For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.” Ephesians 2:10
At Prison Fellowship Scotland, we have the privilege of serving in all 15 prisons and the two Community Custody Units in Scotland. This work is carried out primarily by volunteers, recruited from our church connections, who generously dedicate their time and skills.
Our volunteers receive comprehensive training and support, including SPS training, to equip them for the unique and sometimes challenging prison environment. We also provide clear guidelines, regular updates, and opportunities to meet and learn from professionals and peers.
As the needs of prisons are constantly evolving, so too are the opportunities for volunteering. At present, there are limited spaces to volunteer but this position is constantly changing. If there are no current opportunities we will let you know and are happy to put your name on a waiting list.
If you would like to apply to be a volunteer, please download the application form and send it to: office@pfscotland.org.
If you have any specific questions please fill in the form below, and we will get back to you as soon as we can!
